The bow and arrow is a very commen weapon amongest the higher districts do to the fact it helps them when they are hunting for food.Tributes with a lot of strength prefer to not use this weapon as much because they like to get up close for there kills.It is possible to use the actuall bow as a melee weapon but it will more then likely break leaving you with out a weapon so it is not recomended that you do so.What makes the weapon so good are the many types of arrows you can use such as nomal,flame and poison tiped arrows each has good times to use them.
